my aunt was diagnosed with the same thing 3 weeks ago. they've already removed one of her breasts and the dr's say that everything is pretty much ok now. from what i understand, the cancer has now been removed from the body and is no longer a threat. but i might have gotten it wrong. oh well. things are looking good for her anyway. that's what they say.
it's scary as hell, alright. but like rachel says above; there's hope. dr's are getting better and better at treating these things. i'm sending good thoughts your way!

my mother had ovarian cancer and she is a survivor of 4 years now, so always know there is hope and, above all else, don't lose faith in that. :)

thank goodness there is so much advanced treatment for this now and she can fight it with all guns out!
