O_o Who is this Jérôme guy? How did you meet him? What happened to Rene? And how many guys are you seeing?!?! XD Jérôme, the guy from Stuttgart, Marco, some other boyfriend you had...? I thought you and Marco already got the civil union despite him wanting to be with someone else, but-- he's not with that guy anymore? And you never got the civil union?
WTF was wrong with that drunken lady at Karneval? XD;
Oh, okay! Thank you for the much more thorough explanation. =3 It makes your entry FAR more comprehensible. ♥
I'm sorry that your relationships haven't been working out. =( But the coincidences with Jérôme are really cool. XD A series of coincidences with one person always make me wonder how important they may be to my life in the long run... (Not necessarily as a lover, of course, considering I'm... me... but just as a companion. Friend. Whatever.)
O_o WTF? Why wouldn't you be able to get a visa through a civil union?? That's weird.
What kind of work have you been doing?
... Heiko makes me think of a Japanese girl's name. XD But I assume Heiko is actually German?
Yeah, the coincidence with Jérôme is quite amazing to me. Plus, he's been a huge blessing to me since we've started hanging out. He's been helping me a lot with applying for a masters program in France among other things.
Civil unions just barely even made it through legislation in Germany. The Christian Democratic Union (the most powerful right-wing party) only even allowed them to pass after they were stripped of virtually all rights. You get taxed as though you were single, can't adopt a child together, no right to the social welfare system or financial aid as a foreigner in a civil union with a German, etc.
I'm at the translation company again, but there's so little to translate due to the financial crisis that I've almost exclusively been doing proofreading and formatting work. Super boring.
Heiko is a German guy and his name is the Low German variant of Heinrich. The name somehow seems slightly Japanese to me too, though. ;)
