Been working both outside and inside because the weather fluctuates between too wet, too hot, or just right for working outside. On the inside days, I started to reach and pull out my blazers & jackets from the back end of the one closet, only to discover that the cats (one small black one in particular, I’m sure) have been pulling the jackets down

Ugh, what a mess. You have to wonder what makes cats do this. Hopefully, you can stop the behavior. Feel better soon.

Argh. My younger cat pulls things off hangers too, though he just uses them as scratching posts (argh!) so they're unwearable after that. He's also good at sliding the closet door open if there's the tiniest crack, so I have to brace it shut. He's a hellion. I feel your pain.
