I blame Nixon. Maybe a lot of the legal problems in America started around then. At least he was ousted. The US started with some good stuff. Slaughterhouse-Five, Silent Spring, gender and ethnic equality movements, a lot of good impetus for making laws. When did it start going downhill I wonder. Judges suing dry-cleaners for hundreds of thousands
