Okay so mary blount pronounced blunt decided to go to Baltimore. She went to gay street and loved the cheerful name so she named the street due to her husband being the govenor of Knoxville

This is the intersection of church and gay street. Surprisingly gay street is very popular and kind of like state street in Madison. Ps gay street is in front of the university of tennesee. Does seem a bit odd in the south
