I've never read 2001. I should, but I've never gotten around to it. :D
What got you into Finnish bands and things like that? I'm curious, because from what little experience I've had, most Americans barely know we exist. (Admittedly I've mostly had this conversation with old people in Florida, but still.) :D
I haven't read it yet, either. I checked it out from the library and it's been sitting on the table for two weeks. I really should get started. XD
HIM. They played the video for Wings of a Butterfly on MTV every five minutes for a whole summer a couple of years ago and I fell in love. I got turned on to The 69 Eyes, Apocalyptica, and The Rasmus and a whole bunch of other bands, then eventually Negative, who are my current favorite (if you couldn't tell XD). I've always loved learning about foreign cultures and I was all "Ooh, I don't know anything about Finland! Learning opportunities, yay!" because I'm a dork not a typical American like that. And it doesn't hurt that 90% of the Finnish people I've seen are absolutely beautiful. XD
HIM are pretty fun. Not my kind of music, but I do have one or two of their albums. Also, I have the signatures of all the guys in The Rasmus, from way back when they just called themselves Rasmus. Their new single is on the radio all the time, and I kind of like it. :D
I have all of their albums and half the singles. Me? Obsessed? Never! Not anymore!
Oh, Living In a World Without You? I like it, too; it's the one that convinced me to give them another listen. I was kind of 'eh' about their music before, and now I like it a lot. :) I don't get the "omg, Lauri Ylönen is so hot" thing that I see all over the place, though.

Talk to me about Jonne Aaron, though. *melts*
