Interview today, went pretty good, he rang up Faber when i left, which was what i was hoping he'd do, they loved me there. I got a phone call from dad an hour later saying the supervisor had nothing but good words for me, which must have put me high up on the list of possibilities... Today was my first reverse parking lesson, and i'm proud to say it went quite nicely. I was great 60% of the time, and passable another 20% on top of that, i hit the kerb a few times, ended up a little too far out three or four times, but as long as i remember to keep looking back when reversing, i should have it down pat in no time ( Read more... )

My car is now mine! I tranferred the registration into my name today (without a problem, i might add - thankyou Jane!) PLUS i was lucky enough to only pay $18 in stamp duty, they took it on the "sale price" (which we put as 600 instead of the thousand i gave the Glenmore Parkians) instead of the market value, which would have been quite a bit ( Read more... )
