A Houndour seems content to sit at her side.]What idiot had the bright idea to have part of the road from Violet City to here run through a dark cave? I'm just glad I didn't spend anymore time in there than I did trying to find

"Dark cave"? Oh! Do you mean Union Cave? I didn't think it was that bad. But then I spent awhile searching Dark Cave for a Teddiursa.

Oh, so that's its name? I suppose that it could've been worse, but they could at least mark the correct path through it a little better. But there's a cave that's actually named Dark Cave?

Yup! It's outside of Violet. You don't have to travel through it, but I wanted to catch a Teddiursa, so I stayed for awhile!

I see. I think I must have just passed by it, then. What's a Teddiursa like?

It wasn't particularly fun, no, especially since there weren't any signs to point the way to the exit.

But I'm glad my Magikarp is doing well, too. How are yours coming along?

But.. if it's a dark cave, you wouldn't be able to see the signs, right? It would be too dark, uu-.

Maria and Sakutaro's Magikarp are great! They're all growing a lot! [ Well, not really, but kids can dream.. ]

Well, it wasn't completely dark, more just poorly lit, so you could at least mostly see where you were going. So there'd be enough light to read signs if they were large enough.

I'm glad your Magikarp are doing well, too.
