I've never thought about how Rue must have imagined the Prince before meeting him, and this is a really fascinating take on it. As usual, you do a beautiful job weaving in the stories, too - the little match girl, the sun and the moon.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, and my take on this piece of Rue's childhood (I have to admit, I love thinking about stuff like this, and all we didn't get to see). ^_^

*gives you a warm hug from chibi!Rue*

Gosh, I don't even know what to say. That was such touching and lovely feedback and I just...thank you so much! You just made my day, and I'm so happy. It's really something to feel so supported, and I feel so proud to have written something that moved you so much. It means so much to me. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing - I only hope that I can carry on writing stories that make you feel like this! XD

So gorgeous (AS ALWAYS) Writing a little kid can be hard to make believable but you totally pulled it off. I just love the way you describe things!

Do you do any original prose? Your writing is just so food I can never get enough of it xD

Thank you so much! *hugs* I'm happy you enjoyed it, and my writing-style too (yaaaaay), and feel so grateful for your feedback and encouragement. I love chibi!Rue, but writing a child's perspective from beginning to end was definitely a bit tricky in places, so it's brilliant to know that you feel I pulled it off! *waltzes*

It's really great to "see" you here too - thanks so much for dropping by, even though I haven't posted anything new in months (I've been a bit busy with RL recently). It was such a lovely surprise to find this message. I so need to visit the PT comm again (and stalk your journal see all your beautiful art) and start posting there again, as well as get back into the habit of writing - and maybe finally finish the dozen half-written ideas I've got. XD

I don't have any original work posted online, I'm afraid, but if you're interested, you can find my FF.Net account here (it has everything I wrote before getting my LJ account - about 100 fics - so maybe you'll find a fandom there that you're into too) and some of my ( ... )
