I think Nick will be a bit better able to handle Artemis, if that sounds possible, lol. I think if only because he doesn't have the emotional past with her that Ash did; the way Ash finally put his foot down with her because of Tory makes me think that the only reason he didn't do so before was because he had nothing to run to. If Artemis was no longer useful to Nick and he could manage to get away from her, I wouldn't be surprised to find him bouncing when he could. Though I'm hoping him and Ash can join forces agains the heifer-goddess, lol
( ... )
Yeah, if there's one thing Nick keeps in the front of his mind is that he can't trust anyone. Especially Artemis. I think he'll use her to get what he wants and needs but he'll be careful with her.
Despite his bitterness, he's still a good guy, he just tries not to be. His reluctance to rape Tory proved that. Also being able to stand with Ash and fight Stryker temporarily contradicts his attitude.
I'm guessing the only way Nick will be free from Stryker will be if he finds a woman who will bind herself to him like Tory did with Ash.
I found Ash's clumsy moments endearing. He went from being the scary Goth guy in the first book to the tall, dorky guy Tory fell in love with. It was cute that he would blush in front of her when he did something dorky.
I loved it read it straight through. I still have a small hope (small as in smaller then a horton who) hope that Arti may find someone who will love and teach her love, I think she really wanted to love ash. Tory so rocked she was perfect. She was brave and matched Ash for selflessness. and how great is His mom, she smokes. I can't wait for Simi to find her mate... I am hoping for Nick to bring it full circle.
Artemis did want to love Ash and in her mind she did but she's just too selfish to ever love someone the right way. She's perverse and cruel. I was hoping Tory would beat the snot out of her so that she could know how Ash felt at least for a few seconds.
I wish there had been more Simi moments because I just love her.
Simi is my favorite We named our sail boat after her. I still think there is something in Arti, She loves her daughter, she had his daughter when she NEVER wanted a child. Yes she is the WAY selfish but I don't think she is like 100% evil either Maybe something or someone can redeam her. I don't like her I just don't totally hate her.
OMG... * * * * * I was so psyched that I got his heroine right!! She so rocked!!!
I always disliked the heifer-goddess...but when Ryssa and Appie died... I so wanted to gut her like that Promethius guy...over and over and over again... with wild animal to feed on her in between! gggggrrrr!
I had 2 disappointments... 1. it ended...and not enough of the romance ...ok, it's 3 things! 3...they didn't get to torture and kill Artie. :(
Does that make me vengeful and bloodthirsty? *shrugs* ...I'm good with that. ;p
Tory so rocks, she's caring but tough, she doesn't let Ash get away with anything, she's the right balance of tender love and tough girl.
I agree with your 3 disappointments completely. At least Tory should have taken a strap to Artie so that for once she could suffer the pain and humiliation that she inflicted on Ash.

Make sure you tell me how it was! I swear if it's the last thing I do, I'm going to meet her, even if I have to sell my sister AND her boyfriend.
