erm, I mean... Yeah, it seems great in theory. Making it practical is still a bit tricky.

Eh, if you can afford it and can take time off work, I'd say it's pretty practical. Now, if your plan hinges on visiting people you already know at most of your stops then I could see it as having some difficulty.
