I very much appreciated reading this essay, so thanks for linking to it on Facebook as well as LJ. My experience in the Pagan community has been similar, so much so that I have distanced myself from other Pagans here. Even Pagans with mental illness were putting down other Pagans with mental illness. It was ridiculous and hurtful. So I don't have anything more to do with those people.
