You know, for all the crap I give Arizona about one thing or the other, I've slowly come to accept this state as my home. Granted, I live in a bland, overly taupe, somewhat rectangular corner of the American Southwest, but really, this has come to be MY bland, overly taupe, somewhat corner of the American Southwest. You guys should have gone to Taos! A little more populated, a little more to do cause for some reason people think it's a very "artist" oriented city. Y'know those bohemians ;D Always trendsetting...

No Chaco Canyon or Aztec Ruins National Monument? Cody is a sad panda.

Those places are the ONLY things to see in NM, as far as this historian is concerned.

We didn't have time for either, unfortunately. And really, as much as I would have liked to have seen them, I believe that spending less time with my family in a cramped car is a fine tradeoff.
