'BLASH AHOY! 'BLASH AHOY!

Yay! School is finally over, and I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEE! For now. It's been ages since I've updated this thing (sorry!), so a lot of you have probably been wondering about what's going on with me. The simple answer? Not much. I still have a couple of important notes of interest for those of you who desperately need a 'Blashy fix. Just be warned though ( Read more... )

Did my package to you arrive yet? Jenn got hers.

Also, *crosses fingers* DJ Troopers is supposed to be realeased today. I hope the arcade I'm going to will have it! (They have 3 IIDX machines and have had the troopers poster up for a week, they better have it!)

Yeah, sorry. I haven't had a chance to reply to your emails. I got the package and I got your gift to Mely. I still haven't gotten your gift from the guy that was supposed to mail it to me, so I got you a different gift. It's approximately 238% better than what I was originally going to get you. I mailed it out today. I know you'll love it. ♥

Also, I'm envious. I wanna play DJ TROOPERS!

Ah, I assume that you can't compromise on this problem by dipping regularly colored underwear in day-glo paint? Because honestly, I think if people did this, it'd save them tons of time and money. ♥

That's the beautiful thing about modern American culture! Comfort doesn't matter as long as it's trendy!

(And trust me. Day-glo panties will be trendy. They'd just be too uncomfortable and impractical to be anything else. ♥)

Sorry, I'm stealing him and bringing him back to the east coast after Mely's done with him. I claimed him several years ago. ;)

Good to know you're alive and have survived your first semester! (Will we be seeing more of you over the next month?)

Why a bank?

I hear you on the Christmas music...I tend to focus more on the religious ones, as they tend to be less banal, and often on ones from other countries, as they're not nearly as overplayed here. The King's College Choir performing carols...now *that's* good stuff.

I really need to karaoke "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" sometime.

Not sure what to say about Victoria's Secret...it's a weird place to go. What you really need to do is ignore the other-women-otherness and mannequin-otherness thing and just imagine the intended recipient in the articles in question. I expect you'll find that many things just won't work for that...but for a few things, you'll find yourself Very Curious. (Or you may decide that lingerie as such just doesn't do anything for you.)

1. Hopefully yes, unless they schedule mandatory/vital classes on Thursday again.

2. The simple answer? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for health insurance, and the benefits at the bank are pretty good. Plus, the schedule I have is really good (M-F, alternating Saturdays, 9:00 - 1:00), so it frees up room for both school and future internships.

3. I think you've recommended the King's College Choir once before, but I never got a chance to look them up. One of these days, I'm going to have to remember to bug you about it in person. Until then, I think that I have the wonderful sounds of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra to remind me that good Christmas music *DOES* exist out there. 'Blash has serious love for Wizards in Winter. ♥

4. Mmm...while that's easier said than done, it makes lots of sense. Maybe it'll be possible sometime in the future, when I'm far less shy than I am now. Hehehe.
