There has to be a better way to experience India.

Are you interested in birding? I hear Arunachal Pradesh is really good for that, and has, like, 99% fewer beggars and probably 100% less your family!

I believe we actually drove through Arunachal Pradesh this time, and drove *THROUGH* about 12% of the state's bird population. So, no, while my interest in birding is casual at best, I did get to see a ton of nifty birds right before we ran them over. Woohoo for Indian traffic, I guess?
