Good to hear you're ok. Please be very very careful if you're still looking for apartments. There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there, but I know you can probably take care of yourself. I'm sorry your parents are such apathetic jerks.
It's solid advice, and I'd definitely been fearful of that, just given all the stories that I'd heard. I'm moving in two pretty super-cool people, and there are more than a few people who're willing to put me up if this falls through. At times like this, it's really wonderful to be reminded just how many wonderful people I've got in my life.

Yo man. First off I'm very sorry to hear about the crash and very glad you're okay. Secondly I'm very sorry to hear that your parental units reacted negatively, but I am overjoyed that you're getting out on your own and whatnot. Of course I wish to echo my wife's welcome and we'd love to see you (possibly hold you hostage or whatnot and never let you leave... but ya know we can maybe strike a middle ground).
