Solitude and latent cabin fever

I spent the entirety of this last weekend in solitude with just me and Marcus. Friday evening I hung out with an old friend Crystal and her husband Josh(?). It was good to see them again. Writing letters: try picking one thing that you want to explain. That may well be less overwhelming.

Having to be the one who contacts people: Yes, this is kind of lame, but it doesn't necessarily mean that your friends don't care. It more often means that your friends are flaky, disorganized or not very good at communication. Or, they could be just very tangled up in their own lives.

Though I say that, then look at what I've written (via letter), and realize that I'm definitely exaggerating my inability to communicate my feelings about her toward her. I think it is more a matter of both self-confidence and patience; two things that I have never been terribly good at (especially the patience.)

I think self-confidence and patience definitely are two things you should work on. You had noticed it yourself. There is a place you can start.
