So I’ve just realised it’s been over a month since I last blogged anything.   Ack!  Where does the time go?

Not really sure why.  I think I have just lost my mojo.  Have been generally a bit down and really didn’t think that sharing my gloom with the world at large was a good idea.

Firstly, Little Sister and baby Emily are now home.  After a shaky start (she had a fainting episode and the baby hasn't stopped crying since she got home)I believe everything is going ok.  Added the sleeplessness, she is very sore and uncomfortable, and apparently black and blue.  Looks like bubba put up a fight and didn't want to come out.

Everyone, I would like you to meet my neice, Emily Jane Davies who was born yesterday (24th April 2009).  She weighed in at a whopping 8lb 12 oz and mother and baby are doing well.

Have just visited them in hospital and my poor sister is looking somewhat pale and uncomfortable.  She passed out last night, due to loss of blood and hasn't tried ( Read more... )

I have spent all day out in the garden, potting, planting, sowing seeds, and shoveling compost.    I have pretty flowers were once there were only pots of earth and dead sticks.  And I have resurrected my mini greenhouse in an attempt to grow some stuff from seed.  I probably should have labelled it though cos I'm never going to remember which are ( Read more... )

I hope everyone had  good Easter and consumed copious amounts of chocolate?  And if you do the whole religion thing, I hope that worked out for you.   Personally, I have never really seen the connection of chocolate confectionary and Jesus 'rolling away the stone' or whatever, but then I never claimed any great religious knowledge.  I must have ( Read more... )

Been trying to think of something interesting to write about, and have come up empty. Again. *Sigh*.

Instead, I realised I had about a million little things in my head, that separately would bore the pants of even the most stoic blogger, but all together may just create something worth reading. Or not. Depends on your point of view I guess.

So I haven't written anything in a while have I?  Huh.  I'm not sure why.  Maybe like whitehousemom  I've lost my mojo.  Or maybe I'm just a lazy arse who can't be bothered.  In fact, I think the real reason is that that nothing very interesting has happened in the last few weeks.  Nothing that inspired me to rant or even mildly spew.
