Tonight I went on a walk.
I got lost.
Then a cop stopped me.
Apparently "Exercise" is not a good enough excuse to be out at 2 in the morning in 20 degree weather in some random neighborhood, and I should carry my ID with me, because how would he know who I am?  And I shouldn't walk around in dark clothes because there's drunks out there and I might

This has happened to me so many times before. I absolutely hate it. I'm outside at all hours of the night, and in the winter season, you have to wear heavy clothes. What the fuck is suspicious about taking a walk when you are restless or can't sleep or are just awake?

I'm surprised I haven't been stopped before! I think he only stopped me because I was in some random neighborhood and not on one of the main roads.
I don't know what he wanted me to tell him though. It's not like there's anything I could be doing that would be normal that late at night. :/
He wasn't rude though! (Which is more than I can say for the last cops I talked to!)
