Managed to slice my finger open with a boxcutter at work today. In front of customers. While joking that i hoped i wouldn't cut myself. Sigh. Then had to sprint to the pharmacy holding my bloody finger so that they could help me take care of the biohazard i was creating. ....i forgot i had knee problems. Well with all the hours i'm working they are definitely making themselves known. Not alot to be done about it but i'm aiming to stay off them as much as possible while not at work. Yeah, right lol.

So i've finished the most labor intensive portion of the potholders, it is also the least interesting bit so i'm pretty excited to move forward from the base to the edging and the bit that you use to hand it on things. you know what i mean. This week the going has been slow on my sewing because my hours at work have gone up (thank you god!) and so i'm exhausted when i get home but tonight i decided no time like the present and really got started. i'm pretty sure i'llget a good 1/4 of it done tonight! Very exciting!

i know it's a long video and the first 5 or ten minutes are strange because they haven't reached the point yet but PLEASE hold on and watch the whole thing. Make 2012 the year that the population began to dictate justice!

Just finished putting together my actual physical album for Rommell, i've been waiting for amazon to ship me the album that i decided was right and now it's all done and set up. i miss my boy so much. So 2 nights ago i taught myself how to handsew a bittonhole (more or less) this afternoon i will be teaching myselfhow to use a slip stitch or a blind hem to close up a project.
