Peyton stared down at her computer screen. She'd found her. Right there on the screen. Address and everything.
She stared at it for a moment longer, still barely able to take it in, and then picked up her phone. If she was going to do this she had to do it right now or she never would. She left a quick message for
Angela then put her phone away and wrote down the address and directions to Ellie's.
She grabbed some stuff together and reached for her jacket so she'd be ready to leave as soon as she heard from Angela - one way or another - then hesitated. Dean had said he'd come with her if she went looking for Ellie and part of her really wanted her with him. The other part... really really didn't want to deal with that whole mess, like, ever. Especially since she really really really didn't ever want to talk to him about why their whole... whatever it was... probably just needed to be done. Except for where she really didn't want it to be done - God. See what a mess?
But she'd feel so much better if he was with her on this trip. Probably.
She took her phone back out, then put it away again, shoving it deep into her pocket and slipping her jacket on. Then she dug it out and dialed, wincing as she imagined what she might be interrupting, and just left a short terse
message on his phone before putting hers away again.
Now she just had to wait and see who showed.
