Just got back from seeing Star Trek.

Just.....oh my fucking god. IF you haven't seen it yet....what the hell is wrong with you!? Get to the theater.

I wish I could go see it this weekend. We sadly are broke until next Friday. Damn it, I wanted to get my geek on. Ah well, I'll see it next weekend and the theater won't be as crowded (Gotta look for the positive). Where would you rank it in comparison to the other Trek films (Khan being the best and the Sybok fiasco being the worst)?

Actually, my favorite trek film before this was Undiscovered Frontier. I hate Wrath of Khan, (*gasp* Sacrilege!) because it is so over quoted and over hyped that I'm sick of it. I'm also a particular fan of Nemesis because it was the final TNG story. And a good one at that. Damn those Romulans.

But on a scale of 1 to 10...11. It is NOT what you're gonna expect. I warn and promise you. But you do finally get to see "The Kobiyashi Maru" in action. And the character representations are just fantastic.

My favorite is the one with the whales although Khan is second, I also really like the one where Riker and Troi get married. Then again, my favorite characters are in this order: Spock, Riker, Kirk, Worf, Major Kira, and Wesley (Yeah, I know everyone thinks he's annoying, but I liked him). There's no character that particular annoys me out of the good guys. I liked both Nemesis and Undiscovered Frontier. The only movie I didn't like was Kirk fights God and wins (the fifth one).

I'm not going to see the movie until Thursday or Friday. On the plus side, I got the 1st season of the original Star Trek for Mother's Day, and I'm going to corrupt Rhiannon! Bwhahaha!

So yeah, you'll like the movie I think. I hope. Just remember that it's a reimagining.
