[series]: Kingdom Hearts: CoM.
[character]: Riku Replica.
[character history / background]:
history.
[character abilities]: • Dark Aura; rushes enemies repeatedly with his blade (SoulEater).
• Dark Firaga; expels dark energy in a searing blast from his hand.
• Dark Break; leaps into the air and attacks the enemies from above
Aside from those attacks, Nise’s abilities also lie within the element of Darkness. He is able to utilize it to his advantage either for offense or defense, and when activated it grants him a boost in power. He is good with sword fighting, and his style of combat is fluid and mirrors Riku’s from the first game. Other than that, he’s agile, but has a normal human’s strength, save of course when he’s using the power of Darkness, which is able to endow him further endurance and force.
[character personality]:Many of Riku’s traits are largely amplified in the Replica, expanded on by Vexen. His thought process and behavior patterns are for the most part identical to the Original’s, but because of the lack of every day life experience the Replica goes about things in a more straightforward and less tactful manner. The Replica was created to be more aggressive and protective, prone to lash out at the provocation or threat of his existence and worth. He picks fights often, even with those who are stronger than him. He’s extremely defensive about his value, so to suggest that he isn’t of any importance is an intense personal offense. To the Replica, it’s all about protecting his honor, and along with that, he’s fierce about keeping promises; to break one is to lose all respect. He holds promises dear to his heart and tries his utter best to achieve his goals and vows. He’s also stubborn to a fault; which makes it easy to ride him for a short while until he calms down or finds himself bored with the topic. He doesn’t give up easily, and when beaten down he assures himself and the other that next time, he will be stronger and better. He has self-confidence and assurance whereas the original didn’t, though it could lead him to often over-estimating himself in many situations. Respect can be easily gained if someone proves themselves worthy - though it can go astray in numerous ways, if they insult him. The Replica is picky with who he shows respect to, and tends to look at that person for acknowledgment and approval for many things.
Also, because of his lack of real-life experience, his communication with people can be a little awkward in the way that he says things at the top of his head and has no regard for proper conduct; after all, Vexen hadn’t exactly thought that manners were all that important to incorporate them into him. Because of this, relating to people might prove a tad difficult to him since all he has to go by are memories (and even then, those aren’t his) so just about everything he’d be experiencing for the first time, its minute details completely new to him.
While it was said that he’s can easily fly off the handle, the Replica isn’t all that snarky. He’s brash in the fact that he’s honest, not yet adjusted to the “think twice before you speak” proverb. He isn’t much of a social butterfly, but isn’t anti-social either. Any friends he makes that become close to him forever have his loyalty, and he’d work hard for their acceptance and safety.
Overall he’s very much like a normal teenage boy; he’s jealous, easily riled and extremely competitive. He’s capable of being a sweet boy; all he needs is a chance to shine through and someone to believe in him.
