Buck and I went to FallCon yesterday at the State Fairgrounds. Brrr! It was cold walking from the lot to the Con. It's the first con we've been to, so it was also a chance to plan for next year. I knew a couple people that were there and one of Buck's co-workers at Target had a booth there. Unfortunately I have some virus that gave me a very sore

I was there too! Saturday and Sunday, it would have been fun to run into you there. My friend came in from Madison to attend. I have somehow infected her with the X Men bug, particularly Wolverine, in a major way. When I went to her house in July, I think it was, the same weekend that X Men Origins Wolverine came out, I had her watch the first X Men movie with me in the hopes that she would like it enough to go see Origins with me the next day. Well, she liked it, but not enough to go to the other movie, so I went myself while she went in to her work that she was unable to reschedule...but somehow the bug had bitten, and she started buying graphic novels, and then individual titles on Ebay. We had plans to go to Wizard World, but my Dad had a fall and I was unable to travel. So, this FallCon was her first comic convention, and my first FallCon, too.

We both had a great time, it is a great place to stock up on titles. We overspent in a big way, but it was a ball!
