You'd better let him out!

I just found out the "Prince Albert in a can" joke is a reference to canned tobacco.
That's very sad, because when I heard someone say something about "Prince Albert in a can" back in elementary school I decided it had to be an obscure reference to anal sex with pierced genitals.

Sometimes it is simply more fun to be wrong.

How old were you when you discovered the concepts individually of anal sex and pierced genitals? If you don't mind my asking. I think I was a bit less imaginative about some things back then. Not everything mind you, but mechanics instead of situations just weren't part of it for me for a long while.

As for the sex aspect, My mom always left Cosmo and Redbook magazines lying around, not realizing how well I could read. I proceeded to corrupt myself at an unbelievably young age, though I didn't fully understand a lot of things until I was a little older. And I've always had a natural attraction to piercings. My dad occasionally brought home BME and other body-mod magazines. My parents were pretty anti-censorship.

Slightly off topic, but I remember when I was 10 I was at a neighbor's birthday party where I ended up explaining sex and reproduction to a group of preteens. I even tried to explain how genes are passed on and such, but they didn't seem interested in genetics and I was rather disappointed.
