what you have done is a big part of who you are and if there is something that bothers another person then maybe they are not the right person for you. It could be something they may not have done but you did it...good bad or ugly you can not change it but you can learn from it and as long as you have then it is for the better.

Also know that while they may be uncomfortable knowing and understanding your past, you should also present to them the fact that they should know these things so they know who you are, or at least have been. Sometimes people need time to absorb information before they accept it. If the person is worth it, they will allow themselves time to absorb while giving you a chance to be who you want to be with them.

but in any case - you are awesome, sweet and overall a great person, even with a few things in your past that you might not be proud of - if they are stupid enough to pass up the whole package because of your few faults or mistakes they most certainly lose, not you

what are they going to do? search around for someone without any faults? someone who will tell them they have always done the right thing and are perfect? then they are looking for a liar and dont deserve you or your honesty
