So. I'm moving this weekend to a small 2 bedroom apartment on the north side of town. It's a big deal for me, because the last time I lived alone, I nearly did something... permanent. Bad permanent. But I think I'm ready for it this time; I've got awesome friends, and more confidence, and the right medication ( Read more... )

Moving is one of THE most unpleasant things in the entire world to do. Just think, it'll all be over in about a week, then you can be lazy.

It wasn't so bad, the last couple of times. I was only moving clothes and whatnot, because first the dorms, and then my first apartment alone were furnished. My parents had to bring up my bed from their place when I moved in with yena, but it was just the bed - I didn't have a desk, or the computer chair, or anything else to move. Not like now, when I've got furniture, and 5 years worth of accumulated stuff...

I'm looking forward to being firmly moved in, even if I won't have internet for a while.

Supposedly, my mother is going to be showing up with a service for four, plust extra mugs and cups.

as for saturday... umm... noon? i really don't want to be coherent before then. especially if i have to work the night before.
