So, what's a crafter to do when her glasses break and it'll be two weeks before she can replace them?

( She makes a fix, of course! )

It is! I think that in the future I'll resist the urge to use magnetic beads against my skull. But it's pretty. And comfy. :D

Might try making a version that doesn't require no earpieces, and put it up for sale on my etsy site.
