Trip through Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier national parks

Jul 24, 2007 09:08

I just got back on Sunday from this 12 day trip.  I have been to many of the national parks and have felt awe-inspired by their beauty.  These three though are very special.  They each produced moments of jaw-dropping wonderment at the majesty of the natural environment.

The trip involved a lot of driving - 3000 miles on our circuit from Denver ( Read more... )

Very cool pics. Aaaaahhhh, this brings back memories. I did a motorcycle trip to Glacier, Yellowstone, and Yosemite about ten years ago. Glacier is, to this day, the very best place I've been to in the United States. I did not want to leave.

Glad you had a great time and thanks for a trip down memory lane!

I never thought I'd see a Park that is more impressive than Yosemite but Glacier was. I had that same feeling about not wanting to leave. I really hope to return in the not-too-distant future. That must have been a fantastic trip to make on a motorcycle!

I'm glad the west was good to you :) I haven't been to Yellowstone in about ten years, your photos made me nostalgic. Perhaps I should plan my own trip over there.

I think you would enjoy it. Be sure to spend some time at Grand Teton as well. It's nice the Parks are so close.

Wow! Great photos of what looked like a fantastic trip. If you ever get to Yosemite let me know as I'm about 2 hrs from there.

Let me know when you're in the N Calif area, it would be great to meet you.

And I have to tell you that I've been enjoying the hair pics. When I started reading your lj about 2 years ago, my hair was about the same length as yours. I've only had my hair cut about once every 2 years (even though my mom owns a hair salon), and it would be close, if we were back to back, but I think we're dead even! :]

Oh, that's so cool you're growing your hair long! I've been getting about a 1/2 inch trim once a year and am due for my next one pretty soon. What is your final length goal?

For one fleeting fraction of a second, I thought the mountain goats were unicorns... I may have been reading a little too much fantasy.

Looks like a great place for reflection.

Well, I can see how you could think that. If they had one horn instead of two, it would be a match!
