Thanks. I just washed my hair today so there shouldn't be too much sebum but I suppose there's always some more right at the scalp and that tends to make hair look darker. My hair color is affected by sunlight too and since the length has been around so much longer, it tends to be lighter.
That second pic is rather reminiscent of catholic images of Jesus, what with the blue eyes, beard and long hair. Not the cocky smile, though, their Jesus is always sad =(
I like Jesus' portrayal in The Passion of the Christ. His hair was plenty long but he exuded masculinity and strength, certainly not the wimpy Jesus that is sometimes shown.
Of course, there's always the Watchtower's shaved face Jesus they had for so long! *rolls eyes* At least he's now allowed a beard and doesn't quite have a Bethel haircut although it's pretty close.
I'm also curious to see what my terminal length would be. I don't notice much taper yet so I'm thinking I have quite a ways to go. My goal is belt-length but if it's still reasonably thick at that point, I might consider going for classic length just to try it. I'd probably then cut it back to belt-length.
What was the longest you ever had your hair? I remember at the MLHH (remember those good ol' days?) I think you said you cut 7 inches off at one point. Has that now grown back?
I keep my hair at a length in which I can braid it myself. To make a straight braid, you have to pull the hair over your head. If you pull to the side, you get a crooked braid, and that doesn't look very good.
So, my hair is as long as my arms can reach upward. And that's where I keep it.
The longest I ever had was just past waist length, which is my terminal length. That's about where it was when I had that "trim my hair while braided" incident in 2004. A good terminal length, since I never wanted anything longer than that.
Keep growing. In a few years, you may have Danny Cecati (is that how you spell his name?) hair.
And yes, I remember the MLHH. Haven't seen it in years. Would I be correct in assuming nothing has changed there?
Actually, it's quite a bit different. It's no longer Victor's site and there's more lattitude now, even some swearing! I'm now part of the 'crew' and take care of the links page. Although I'm not a moderator, I now see what goes on behind the scenes. You should come back!
Not been around much. But my, look at the difference in your hair ^_^ *Hugs* Glad to see your still as lovely as ever. xxx P.S...Still jealous of the colour :P

Looking good. In fact...GREAT! I'm curious to see what your terminal length is. Are you planning to go to terminal length?
You have absolutely fantastic, amazing hair. Perhaps the best I've seen on a man. Ever.
