This post made me so very happy! And I just had a very uncomfortable experience that... well, pretty much changed my life, but I wasn't feeling too hot about it, and now I'm just very very happy!

You sound so optimistic and very confident, and that's just awesome. It wasn't fate that got you a gig and a room -- it was your talent, pure and simple. You'll go far with that. It saved your life, and it might just sustain it -- you should think about doing music for business... I mean, I know you were talking about (whether seriously or not) being a psych major, but your music's going to get you far ( ... )

Thanks for all your support. Yesterday was great! I played for Sarah and her family. Sarah liked it but I don't think she understood it. Some people don't really understand music and all the emotions that go into creating it, Sarah enjoys music but she doesn't feel it. I was hoping the music would show her how I feel. It's not a big deal just means I need to use words more and I'm really not good with words. Oh well on the bright side her mother was very moved to the point of watery eyes. She got it ( ... )

(Sorry this reply is so late -- was in RI all weekend =D)

Oh, I'm so glad you performed for her/them! It's too bad she didn't really feel it. I know how hard it is to write music. You appreiate the whole proess so much the more h wne you try it for yourself. I'm much better with words than music myself. I can write poetry, but I suck at the musical composition. You're lucky you have that talent!

As far as studies... you could major in psychology and minor in music -- pursue a career with the former and perhaps "moonlight"/night job with the latter. You'd be ROLLIN' in it! In your face, mom! ;)

That's awesome that you're set with The DAD. Did he say anything about your trust?

And yeah, sometimes it sucks with the whole LJ privacy thing. But I constantly do custom locked entries, so that some friends can read the entry and others cannot. So lots of the entries you can read, some of my "IRL" friends cannot (I'll bet you can guess which ones!).

Well keep me posted as usual. I'll be rootin' for ya!

Don't worry about being late, I actually haven't been on since I went to San Diego with Sarah.

I'm working on a new song. Sarah is more into the techno stuff, I go tsome ideas. I don't know why I have so much trouble with words, like I still haven't actually told Sarah those three words. Are words really that important?

I did sign up as a Psych major at UCLA but I can always change it. They also have an excellent Music program. It's too late for this year because they have a whole audition process but maybe next year. I'll leave my options open.
