Taken Because He Can

If you have something you want to say, or questions to ask about me, or my pups, or the way I do things with my pups, then please do so now. It can be about how I play them, how I write them, how I see them, or whatever you want to discuss ( Read more... )

OH LOOK I LOGGED IN IT'S A MIRACLE.

...And I suddenly realised I don't really have much of anything to say. For some reason which clearly must be corrected in a couple weeks, my pups have not interacted with yours much. D: Which is sad. Because you're great. :D

Though Eleven wants to ask if Dark!Five has ever considered some brightly-coloured scarves to add some spice to his black suit?

OMG IT BE YOU. How's your trip going?

Yes, we must remedy that! Eleven could make Five blush and dark!Five can get snarky and then pwned. ...Awww. *grin* You're rather wonderful, too.

dark!Five says he feels his attire is perfectly fine on its own. The interesting bit is him.

(You should market that. Address poetry.)

All right, for the most part. Spent many hours in back of van, listening to music and/or reading and occasionally writing. That sort of thing. And I found a copy of William R. Espy's An Almanac of Words at Play for $5.50 at a bookstore which makes me So Very Happy.

Eleven is all for making Five blush and eventually pwning Dark!Five. It could be her new hobby!

She says he looks like he's heading to a funeral and does he have anything against looking like a happy li'l megalomaniac on occasion? And besides, he could better represent the Twisted in something more resembling a clown's suit.

(I should. And then get lots of money for it. Along with thank-you notes written in rhyming couplets.)

Sounds very relaxing, at any rate - and that is quite a good deal!

Very worthy hobbies I would say, though Five would like to inform us that we're cruel people. He is not, however, adverse to the pwnage of dark!Five.

He says he needs something to counteract the pretty blue eyes and fluffy blond hair, and really, a clown? He has never been nor will ever be that evil.

Dark!Five is a delicious twist on Five! I love him!

Do you think D!Five is redeemable? I know he's newer, so how do you plan on keeping him separated as the dark version of Five rather than a Five version of the Master? Does that sentence make sense? *headscratch*

*beams* Thank you!

Hah, it does to me but that may not be saying very much. ;p

Dark!Five is, I think, distinctly different from the Master in that his. (The thought of wiping out entire planets, for example, especially Traken, absolutely horrifies and disgusts him.)The loss of innocent lives doesn't effect him anymore, not really, but he would never cause death without a reason. He genuinely believes that was he's doing is good, and the thing is he has helped people, he has made things better for a lot of worlds.

He just doesn't care how he does it. He just absolutely believes in his own superiority. Bit of a god complex, this one. He's...the Doctor who gave up and decided he won't play nice anymore. He's Five who decided yes, there should be another way, but there isn't and he simply has to get on with it.

I love both your Doctors to little tiny pieces. Five has always been my favourite, and to see you do him such thoughtful justice does my heart good. Dark!Five makes me squee more than he has a right to, and his plotting with Catherine at RS is fun. And I cannot say enough about Five and the Rani at OS. I frequently do happy dances upon comment notifications--three cheers for a writer who can do tension and denial so deliciously rather than jumping to "Oh, he should just hit on her", and more cheers for one who can do angst without being overly emo or losing characterisation.

Is there anything you would like to explore with either version of Five that you have not had the opportunity to do yet? What do you find easiest to write for him, and what most difficult? What sorts of situations set him free, and what sorts stifle him?

*blushes lots* Thanks so much, that means a lot to me. I can say the same thing - I love playing against your characters, so very much. I'll just cheer you right back if you don't mind ( ... )

Thank you! That's kind of you to say.

I happen to love Five's prattling. *hugs him* And we can certainly work on getting either of your Fives some adventure--perhaps OS!Five would be better suited for adventuring with the Rani.

Meant every word. *grin*

Awww. He appreciates the hugging. In a flustered way.

Yes! He, ah, still wants to go Dalek-hunting. And possibly Time Lord-finding. I think he may have just told the laws of Time to sod off.
