The birthday brownies were good. Really good.

But today I'm not doing so well. I've been sick a lot and my sleeping has been...erratic, to say the least. I wanted to be able to go see Naomi, my nurse practitioner, but it seems Mike and my Mom are conspiring against me. They supposedly know we have a tight budget...but yesterday they spent $300

Our lives seem to be going in parallel directions, don't they? *hugs tight* As they say, though: "This, too, shall pass." Things never stay the same and they have to start getting better again sometime. We just have to run the rapids and ride out the white-water until the raft gets to an easier place.
