My hard drive crashed. I'm still trying to get it to recover, but so far no luck.

Mom's surgery went well and she's recovering. We'll see tomorrow how she handles being on her feet. And I've got to make an appointment for the staples to come out.

Dunno when I'll be back around. I'm using Mom's comp to put this out. Hope everyone is doing well.

Well, today was one of those days where my sleep was totally messed up. I had an appointment with Naomi at 8 MST and that's an hour away. So we got up very much before the sun and had a rough runaround this morning.

The good thing about the new antibiotics is that I'm not having to take fistfuls of other medications with them.

I'd rather be crawling right back into bed after a bad night, but I've got to go see Naomi and have the wounds packed again. And then we've got to take Mom to her appointment with Dr. Oei, her pain specialist. She's in fine fettle this ( Read more... )

I went to see my nurse practitioner today...she managed to get me a discount so I could come into the office for $65 instead of $115. She's the same person I've been seeing off and on for the last 16 years, so I really trust her and she knows me and my body pretty well.

I'm home. And I get to go back to the ER in two days...to have the dressings changed again. The hole in my stomach is still draining copious amounts (and it looks BLEH!) but the doctor said it looked like it was doing fine. Most likely, nedt time they won't repack the one on my leg, since it's healing so nicely.
