Long Takes

It's been a while since I post these informative-kinda entries, but I thought this might be interesting. So here goes.

Ever since I watched Children of Men, I have been fascinated by long takes. Children of Men has several simply amazing long takes that needs to be seen to be believed. But anyway, before we go on, here's what a long take means:

Add to my list of movies to watch are Dead poet's society, Godfather and Pulp fiction. Will look out for long takes when I watch them! Have you?

Hahaa watch them! Especially Goodfellas - "Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a gangster."

I want to watch Godfather also! And I think Pulp Fiction has a long take in it too, or that might be Kill Bill.

oh my prof screened Children of Men as a classic example of long takes~~~i can't believe how much effort have to be put in to execute such an awesome smooth flow of events in one long take..

Yes, it's truly amazing! Did your prof show this take or the other one in the middle of the war zone? Both were fantastic.

If I ever become a director, that's the kind of long take I want.
