What do you do when you realise that the things you thought you'd enjoy bring you no pleasure, the things you thought you could do, you can't, and the things you wanted to do, you dont...?
Realize you might be looking in the wrong places at the wrong things in the wrong way. And that being wrong is OK (and quite normal) as long as you're willing to fix it.
Go searching.
Find the things that bring true happiness and joy vs temporary pleasure.
Do the things you can do and do them the best you can. And enjoy the fact that you can do them.
And then you'll find new things that you want to do.
Good friends and family are always a good place to start when looking for joy and happiness. I don't know what your inclinations are to the subject, but my religion and my family has always provided enough direction and joy in my life to push through whatever has come my way. I'm not one to preach much, but if you're interested, let me know.
Either way, good luck getting out of the apparent slump. Everybody goes through them time to time, what makes the difference is what you do about it. Slump deeper or change something.
