I have seen this meme making it's way across the landscape:
"If there is someone on your friends list you would love to have an epic, sweaty,
damn near legendary, 12 hour fuckathon with, post this same exact sentence in your
journal."
I am not "posting this," in the sense that is implied by the sentence itself; I mention it only ( Read more... )

I'd have to agree with you on that one.

I posted the former in this journal and the latter in my non-sex journal, both in reference to the same person.

I like to cover my bases :) (and he reads both)

That's a nice mix--he must be very pleased. : )

you'd think so, but no :)

we're friends and such, but he lives an annoying distance away (think 10-12 hour drive) and I'm pretty sure he's getting a local girlfriend. Ah well, yet again I'm relegated to "just friends"

good thing i'm used to it :)

That is rather a long distance to manage, but still, that's terrible. : ( I'm sorry to hear it. *hug*

the problem with sometihng like that is
that i coulod probably post that every day but i couldn't guarantee that it'd be the same person i'd be thinking of

because i'm a nice catholic girl
and us nice catholic girls don't casually go around having sex for 12 hours just because we want to

Even if that is true, there is certainly nothing that stops you from *thinking* about it as much as you like. : )

I agree - it's easy to be wanted, and much more difficult to be the kind of person who lingers. A friend of mine has a song w/ a great, simple line, "Some girls you don't remember. Some girls you don't forget."

That is a great line, indeed. I would certainly prefer to be the boy "you don't forget" than an object of desire. Not that I would object too strongly to the latter, of course.

Of course they often go together.

Yes, it is a good song - and one, perhaps not too surprisingly, that his gf prefers not to hear him sing.

Perfect chemistry when they do, I imagine.

Hmm. . . were I in her position, I would like hearing that line--unless I thought he was singing it about someone else.

I've been perusing your journal. I hope you don't mind if I add you?

Not at all; it would be my pleasure. I will reciprocate, so you can see my friends-only posts (most of my entries are protected).
