Mmmmm - yes, I've been there. If it's pre-relationship the emphasis is on the exquisite. Post-relationship, it's on the torment.

In this case, it is an initial encounter, though I doubt that anything ultimately will come of it. But it is most certainly exquisite.

I have also, unfortunately felt the torment that is the flip side of the coin. Usually painful, and not in the good way.

Mental and emotional torture can provide more pain then anything physical.

How very true. . . though sometimes it is a pain that one craves, and sometimes it is a pain that one dreads.

That is true as well, but when you can have both. *shivers* Now that is a great thing. Craving the pain that you dread will drive you beyond your own limitations.

Such delicious truth. It is so enticing to be pushed beyond boundaries, into places that seemed impossible to reach. . . or to push another there.
