I haven't the faintest. I think my own trainer buys rations for all three of us at once, but they're there to keep us going. Surely you've seen yours eating before.

Here's what I'd do. Keep the food somewhere safe. Train together 'til you're both worn out. Offer it to them, see if they offer some back or drop a hint, sit together, eat, rest, enjoy. What better way to thank a trainer?
