Surprisingly, given your sarcastic comment, the lady in the pretty picture doesn't look like she minds all that much.

I used to not care about Valentine's Day. Then I read this, and now it kind of vaguely amuses me.

still haven't caught up on Psychopass please don't kill me

She's breaking free from red threads that are binding her/strangling her/holding her down. I don't believe in fate. Fate is a word used either by weaklings who want to wish that there is one right answer to their lives, or by other people to hold you down. You're not fated to be with anyone; everything is a choice.

I feel like I'm this close to snapping right now. Like I'll even read opinions that I think are so wrong/unfair to things like...random things, like those stupid arguments about how the Sibyl System would be good for us or how Kougami is treating Akane very poorly, and then I like want to snarl at everyone this is a very bad sign. I think I need help.

Valentine's Day in Japan was definitely created/shaped by Japanese confectioners. Japan choco companies make 50% of their revenue the week before V Day.

I'm underwhelmed by all my series because I'm too genre savvy and I'm stressed the flying motherfucking fuck out I think, so I just yeah nothing. Everyone's flipping out and I'm all been there seen that fucking grow up wait ( ... )

You're gonna get pushback on "everything" because obviously you can't control the circumstances of your birth and such, but in general I agree.

Your life would be much improved if you could surround yourself with like-minded people. Or at least articulate differently-minded people.

You know, the very idea of the day is retarded, but some people somewhere get something out of it, so good for them. This made me smile.
Or maybe it's just the chocolate companies, and insecure relationships testing themselves. Whatever.
In my mind the whole thing goes under "Not my problem."

I didn't say that you're guaranteed every option, just that everything is a choice.

My life would be much improved if I could shoot myself in the face.

If couples want a day to especially cherish each other, then I can't really care. Dad always gave mom a dozen roses every year without fail. If we wanted to rebel against every corporatized holiday, we may as well go with Christmas first. And I guess I'm rather dead inside today by not reacting to that img. Or really fucking stressed. Could barely focus in classes.
