When you said " shes painting my a picture ( part of my gift)." It made me think of The WEdding Singer, when the little old lady paid Adam Sandler with meatballs when he gave her singing lessons.
I'm a big fan of paintings. I'm not artisic in the least bit, but I can get captivated by a single stroke in less than seconds.
