New Year's was relatively fun. I had a "party" that was a lot closer to a party than I thought it was going to be because Heather brought over two people I didn't know, bringing the total number of guests up to four.
Kim was in Santa Cruz, and Emmy's still MIA (although the UC Davis webpage tells me that the quarter starts on Monday, making it likely that she's at least back in the country at this point.) Veronica and I are planning on frog-marching Heather to Sacramento sometime in the next week, ambushing Emmy in Davis on the way and going on a Big Trip to the bridal mall to buy.some.fucking.bridesmaids.gowns.already. Because this needs to happen.
What have I been doing this break? I have been watching movies, watching Smallville, and reading comic books (I made a good investment at the used book store yesterday. Then they tempted me with their $134 Crisis and promise of 10% discount. But then I turned to the internet and found that they were over-charging. I still plan to go back and buy more comics from them (because I bought $20 worth of comics for $5 yesterday). Just not that one.) And visiting relatives.
After two weeks of bad movies, Noyo Theatre suddenly decided to get *both* Finding Neverland and I Heart Huckabees this week. Pretty good for a three-screen movie theater, I have to say. I plan on watching both... muahaha!
I am hiding from the email I need to write. Maybe I'll get some of it done today, but I think I'm going to wait until Monday when normal business hours start up again. So there.
Eh. 2004 is gone, 2005 is here. It's been a long year, and I spent a total of five weeks of it outside South Hadley. Something to think about, eh? I need to find something cool to do this summer, obviously.
Mom is cooking dinner. I've been up since 9:30ish, but am still in pjs and convinced that it is morning. I am a confused little rabbit.
So now I am off to take a shower. La.
