I must come up with a topic and abstract for my sociology paper tonight. But what, dear readers, should I write it on? I have listed the four topics below, and would be grateful for any imput (I'm leaning towards either class or impartiality)

I voted for "presentation of the self," because it's madd broad and therefore you can write about whatever the fark interests you in the name of social science. Personally, I'd do something related to gender, since that's the easiest thing in the world to write about in the Valley. Race/class stuff is pretty dull and overdone, and the stuff to read on impartiality is boring as fuck.

I object! DO NOT write your paper about THE SELF. I took an entire course on this and trust me, you do not want to go there. Social classes, I say. Besides, much more data on such things than something so vague as THE SELF.

I'm v. much planning on doing something other than the self. Esp. as the topic is more specifically about the self as it relates to gender identity... bo-ring. I've been here long enough to hear enough about gender identity that I don't feel like writing about it...

I am surviving... That's a way to put it. I have 20 units on my plate right now, and will have 22 next quarter. But things are going okay. Finals in about a week and a half. What about you? How are things going?

Well, following that eternal pattern wherein your finals coordinate with my midterms and vica versa, I have midterms in about a week and a half :)

I too am surviving... I'm still taking my average of 16 credits, but the extracurriculars are determined to eat.me.alive. I'm also actively *not* coming down with Mono (which Ariel currently has). I hope to continue with that one...
