I just got back from dinner with Jane Yolen, Tony DiTerlizzi, and their respective spouses. (I knew I kept olivia_circe around for something...) It was a really great meal, most likely the best Ariel and I will have in this week of tragic dining hall-less living

How on earth did you manage to have dinner with Jane Yolen?

Jane is an old friend of Ariel's from the sci-fi convention circuit (where, apparently, Ariel used to be a springy-haired toddler who came to all of Jane's story-telling events). When Jane found out that Rel was staying here for spring break she offered her house. Ariel declined, but asked her to give us a meal. :)
