Twenty things that you didn't want to know.

I’ve been tagged by mazzydp into doing this. Anyway it gives me a chance to do a post without having to come up with anything that may be deemed even slightly interesting. Plus, it gives me a chance to change the song to Don Fardon’s "Belfast Boy" , which is all about the football genius George Best who died last Friday ( Read more... )

Re 13) Double Yay!! Although it would be 2007 at the earliest that I could possibly go to Wisconsin. What is the capital of Wisconsin anyway? But more importantly, is it warm there?

Oh, I know this one! The capital of Wisconsin is Madison - which is a great town for shopping and drinking, I hear. I've been there twice, and I don't remember shopping. ;)

It's warm in the summer. Mostly. Don't worry, though - by 2007 global warming ought to take care of the other three seasons.
And cow-tipping is a year-round sport. :D

If older daughter stays in California, sometime after June of 2007 we plan on going to visit her. I'd like to take enough time to see Faerie (and some others) then. If you don't make it up here by that time, maybe we can all meet in LA?

Post a picture of your pretty new car so we can all admire it. :)

Why are you sad? That simply won't do.

re: #10 - did you get the red one?
#13 - Lucky! I'm sure you'll all have a great time *s*
#20 - I've always meant to ask you about this and am glad to see some answer here. Next time we talk I'll have to ask you to say it for me because I am never certain of the correct pronunciation.

You'll always be a rock star to me *s*

Why am I sad? It's because George Best passed away. Although I'm too young to recall him as a player, he was one of the greatest exponents of the game of football (soccer). Sadly, his career was blighted by alcoholism which eventually lead to his death at a relatively young age of 59.

Re 10) Yes, it's the red one. I sent you a couple of pictures of it in the letter that I posted. Unfortunately, they were taken the subterranean car park below where I live and they're a little dim. But you can still makeout the car.

I must remember to show you my old passport photo of me with long hair. That's always good for a laugh.

"But you can still makeout the car."

Faerie reads: "But you can still make out in the car."

Oh my ...

*cough*

Ummm...sorry. Yes, I REALLY did think it said that at first.

Yay! Pictures of the Make Out car!

And please, oh please, long hair pics!

I'm sorry about his passing and that you're sad. *leaves a bowl of strawberries*

I got the pictures (and the letter too :) ! The car is really lovely. I want a ride! Maybe you can get a paint job done on it someday?

You’re more than welcome to have a ride in my car. It’ll make a change to have a passenger who doesn’t get cookie crumbs all over the seats.

I can’t believe that you thought it said “but you can still make out in the car”. You’d better be careful otherwise you’ll lose that Victorian street cred of yours. Besides, sports cars are notoriously cramped and it has no back seats.

I might consider a re-spray, but I’ll have to look into how much that would be. I’d quite like Midnight Blue as blue is my favourite colour.

I’ll have to see if I can take a better picture so Bodpod can see it.
