That is pretty much the motto I live by... and this is the first time I ever read that quote. Basically trust yourself and make sure your family and loved ones know you whatever you are doing, you are doing because you feel it is the best thing for you/them. no one else knows what is in your heart. if those close to you truly love you, they will understand and support you and give you the freedom to do what you need to do.

on the other side of that coin, you have to respect those you love that they will do what they need to do for themselves whether or not that is best for you personally.

For me, this has been the groundwork of my marriage with Dan. Mutual respect.... even if it hurts to give space and put all your trust in them... in the end, if you truly love someone, you have to have faith that their motives and desires are what is best for THEM... not necessarily you.
