A night in Indy/A night in Loss

So Thursday Night was the prime time meeting of Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. This was looking like a much bigger game at the start of the season and with the Colts going 1-13 and the Texans clinching the division two weeks ago, it lost a lot of that build up. But that can be a blessing in disguise, since we got out tickets for basically ( Read more... )

Sounds like an excellent time!

A) Having been to Indy a few times, I will testify that yes, it's a pretty nice city. Even the freaking airport is nice. I hear the Broadripple district is really cool; have you ever been there? The crime rate down there is still a little high (anyone who has more experience with Indianapolis want to chime in here?)

B) You met/saw TJ Yates' folks? Oh that's so cool. I'm jealous. XD

C) There are some REALLY antagonistic Colts fans out there too, although I thought this season would pretty much wipe all will to be antagonistic out of them. I could give you 20 minutes on this if you really want, but I'll be polite.

D) And yeah. Some of the officiating was nonsense, both ways. The second Roughing the Passer called against Houston looked like two defenders collided and their momentum propelled them into Yates. Under the incidental contact rule, they'd have called this a consequence of physics and waved it off ( ... )

This was my first time down there, so I didn't see much except for walking from the Embassy Hotel and to Lucas Oil Field Stadium. A few homeless people were around, but compared to Cincinnati, it was a paradise.

I mean if you want to talk about Colt's fan, you know I'll always lend you my ear heh.

Its just easier to complain about officiating when you lose, especially that final goal line stand. I couldn't even watch, I was staring at the scoreboard hoping time would run out.

I think this might help ease the sting of that loss a bit.

Ryans & Cushing talk...uh, relaxation. Enjoy!

I just watched that earlier and it did make up for the loss.

Totally nothing going on between those two...nothing at all..
