I just discovered something that's been doomed for years, 'Firefly'. It's campy and ridiculous. But I heart it.

I totally fell off the face of the earth myself for like, years, so I'm glad to see at least somebody from before that's still around.♥

Game of Thrones. That show, the book series and everything else incolved with that franchise is taking control of my life. I'm obsessed. YOU SHOULD WATCH IT. I'm pretty sure I can guess which characters you would be stanning for the most.

As for asian dramas I've been in a slump myself. I'm still trying to finish Secret Garden and I'm slowly following that new one with Maki (forgot the title.) The only shows I'm keeping up with are Running Man and Infinity Challenge and those don't even really count because they're varieties. *shrugs*

I haaaaaaaaate GRRM. Sorry!

Does Maki have a new drama? Oh man, that shows how out of the loop I am, I didn't even know. IS IT ANY GOOD? DOES SHE LOOK FLAWLESS AS ALWAYS?

Hey. You can hate the man but how can you hate that book series? My god, it's fucking fantastic. *shrugs* Ro each their own, I guess. You'd probably still like the show though. At least for the hot and talented actors in it.

Her new drama is called Umareru. She plays the eldest sibling in a family of six. Her father just recently dies and almost immediately after her 50 year old mother finds out she's pregnant. She basically it's a family drama where they are figure out what to do with the reality of dealing with their own shit in their lives (and of course in true Japanese fashion each sibling has some major shit going on), the consequences/joy of their mother having another baby at her age, etc etc. I think it's entertaining enough. If anything I enjoy gazing at Maki's beauty and her long hair again. And laughing at all the people spazzing out over Maki and Okura Tadayoshi being in a drama together.

Actually, I don't know the man at all. I should've said "I haaaaaaate GRRM's... book series!" And before you ask, yes, I've read three.

I was starting to get interested in Umareru but now Ilana is telling me it sucks. XD I wonder how much I can tolerate for a pretty long-haired Maki... I don't mind jdrama pregnancy storylines as long as they're not horribly cliche or offensive. Hmmm.

I'm marathoning In Plain Sight, which isn't the best thing ever but is fun enough to keep me watching. It's always nice to have something to marathon my way through when I'm bored and/or procrastinating. I'm still watching jdramas, but there's nothing on right now that's amazing enough for me to say "OMG YOU MUST WATCH IT NOW!!!"

In Plain Sight! ♥ I watched, um, two seasons of that? Mary was so freaking great. She reminded me of a female Sawyer from LOST. :D

That's an interesting comparison considering that I didn't like Sawyer at all. XD But I do like Mary and her rants. I'm partway through season 2 right now.

No really good drama around this season :/

Otherwise, Community and White Collar :D?

Ooh, I forgot White Collar is coming back soon! That should make the summer bearable.

I keep thinking the same thing, though at least Doctor Who is back for a few weeks and Leverage and The Glades will make the summer more bearable for me as well.

Also White Collar ♥♥♥

Slumps seem to be contagious, right now I'm developing a horrible backlog with stuff (Western and Asian) I've been excited about for literally years. Also, randomly trying out some of the new dramas, but I don't stay too excited about anything for long. Which is a pity, this seems to be a decent season.

Instead, catching up on oldies: I've been very busy marathoning One Piece (something my brother has been trying to convince me to do for years, never listened before :D)

I feel your pain. I think I'm getting pickier about dramas. D: Or maybe I'm just in a slumpy mood of slumpness and everything sucks when I'm already feeling so negative.

BUT SPEAKING OF NON-SUCKY THINGS, HELL YEAH ONE PIECE. \o/ How far are you? Who are your favorites? HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE CREW?

OMG SO MUCH. If they really existed, I'd be gone RIGHT THIS SECOND.

I'm watching it completely out of order - started with the CP9 saga, watched up until the current episodes, only then went back to the start. I'm in the middle of the Arabasta arc right now :D

I love everyone! But Robin the most, a girl after my own heart ♥ And Luffy, with his amazing stupid everything ♥ And Nami and Zoro and and and *collapses from the overwhelming love*

Did you see Water 7? I can't remember where that falls in the timeline. But it - and Nami's arc - they're two of my favorite fictional storylines pretty much ever.

ROBIN AND NAMI. ♥ The ladies are so great! And Zoro. AND SANJI. Sanji is one of my favorites. BUT NO ONE CAN COMPARE TO LUFFY. He's such a stupid amazing shounen hero idiot of awesome. ♥ ♥ ♥ I THINK THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE IF EVERYONE WAS MORE LIKE LUFFY.
