Was totally defeated in the face of Can You Hear My HeartI don't even know how I got roped into this drama, but I'm so glad I did, because it's WONDERFUL. Funny and romantic and adorable and full of surprises. It's like Bara no nai Hanaya mixed with all the best parts of Cinderella Unni. Like Triple, if Triple actually made ( Read more... )

You had me at Bara no nai hanaya, forever my favorite. But you would have me at slashy brothers, if I was reading this post from end to beginning.

And also you would have me at deaf. Orange days, Oguri Shun in Summer's Snow, I WILL NEVER FORGET THE AWESOMENESS of shows with deaf people. Also your OTP looks a little like the OTP from Coffee Prince (♥)

ALSO ALSO ALSO HI ILU I MISSED YOU, I FORGOT TO ANSWER YOUR PREVIOUS POST AND TELL YOU THAT I'M IN LOVE WITH CRIMINAL MINDS (SHH SHH I'VE YET TO WATCH THE FINALE)

I love the heroine's dad SO MUCH, he reminds me of Eiji even though they're nothing alike. They just inspire the same warm fuzzies of cute daughters and adorable fatherhood. *_____*

Hahahahaha, LET ME TELL YOU A STORY. Okay, so the OTP meet as kids, right? And the heroine has a deaf mom so she knows sign language. They're sitting together under a tree, talking and being cute and making promises and stuff, and she signs something at him that he copies but doesn't understand. For THE WHOLE DAY he keeps making the sign at himself and wondering what it means. "I'm handsome? I'm cool? I have a good nose?"

We eventually see it again when she gets annoyed at him, makes the sign, and says "IDIOT!"

HE'S TREASURING THE PRECIOUS MEMORY OF BEING CALLED A MORON.

LOLOLOL FOREVER.

YOU'RE PREACHING TO THE CHOIR, LADY, I'M ALREADY DOWNLOADING IT.

Oh, unless you wanted to share the story in the name of friendship? This is a new sensation for me. Friends are not to be manipulated sneakily to join your fandoms? Friends are just...friends? Who can share things? That are not download links?

HEE HEE.

No, no, best friends are the ones you secretly manipulate to join your fandoms. Because then you already know their weaknesses and it's easier to sway them to the dark side.

JUST SAYING.

Hee! I am glad you found something new to love. I take it you finally found a way to watch it? btw have you ever seen city hall I've begun watching it and it is great so far, the heroine is my favorite person right now <3 I thought about watching can you hear my heart but I always feel grumpy when dramas have disability in the mix because its usually used for melodrama and angst and ugh in the worst most cheap way. or its cloyingly sentimental which is almost as bad. but I mean I take it this drama isnt like that? I mean its summer and despite my foolishly enrolling myself in a science class a girl still needs dramas to kill time with. now that all my western shows are ending ;_; *waits patiently for true blood and leverage to start*

City Hall! ♥ The heroine was AMAZING, it makes me happy that you love her, because I remember a few people were like "well, she could be better..." and I was like NO ACTUALLY SHE COULDN'T.

CYHMH actually has two disabled characters, the deaf hero and the heroine's mentally handicapped father. I guess what you'd think of it depends on your personal triggers? I love them both, for what it's worth. But ymmv.

What? Who gave you permission to go outside? I want you chained to your desk and always talking to me!

I was never a big Ares fan, that's probably one of the reasons I couldn't get into later seasons. I was all about Xena/Gabrielle and his penis made him an unwanted interloper. (I also just got tired of the show's schtick? I mean, there's only so many times they can die and come back to life before I stop getting invested. YOU COULD LEARN THIS LESSON, DOCTOR WHO.)

Well both you and Mousie are saying CYHMH is awesome so I feel tempted but we dont always agree on stuff.

Dooooooooooo it.

Doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ittttttttttt.

IF YOU HAPPEN TO HEAR A CACKLING NOISE IN THE DISTANCE, I PROMISE IT ISN'T ME. It's just. You know. The wind. Cackling forever.
