Yay seasonal jdrama poll! I feel like you havent dont these in ages wolf. I am only gonna check out don quixote, mostly for matsuda shota. everything else i am ignoring in favor of kdramas. I started watching you're beautiful and I'm on ep 11 now. IT IS MASSIVE LULZ. I looooove it so far. I so expected to hate it cause its stupid but its stupid in the way that I love. Plus Jang Geun suk! omg he is so gorgeous and diva bitchtastic in this. just eternal hearts <3333. aside from that i'm watchiing hearstrings, myung wol the spy and i intend to start on warrior baek dong soo at some point. so yeah no room for jdramas atm. i barely have time for my summer science class lol.

I know! And it feels weird and incomplete, doesn't it? Because so many of us are watching k/c/twdramas at the same time. I was tempted to include those, but then I realized trying to make a complete list of everything is just crazy and probably impossible.

Yes. I was watching Material Queen which is a twdrama but dropped that cause it got dumb and not in the good way. plus the heroine was annoying to me.

DIDNT YOU SEE. I SAID I WAS WATCHING MYUNG WOL. lol but seriously i dled the first ep and havent seen it yet. I am thinking of putting heartstrings on the backburner since its starting to annoy me with its lack of development between the leads and its boring romantic secondary couples. so far my time is mainly consumed with YAB and researching alternative energy for my science project. and No I am not watching the YAB j-remake becuase the guys look ugly as fuck and too young! they look all of 14! My friends are excited about ouran but i have the same problem with them that the guys are too young and unattractive for me to care about the story. I have so many j-actors I like but almost none of them do dramas these days. Yeah japan call me when matsuken and odagiri joe are doing dramas again. or nagase! I'll watch nagase in anything, and in fact I pretty much have lol.

Late! But the main cast of the Japanese You're Beautiful is actually the same age as the cast of the original; apparently they're even older than when the original was airing? Japanese Shinwoo and Jang Geun Suk are both '87-ers, even, and the other three are '90 to '91, I think. Not that that's much to change someone's mind, I imagine, but I thought it was ironic when someone else had said they look young. Ah, Japan, giving us pedo-bait looking actors and actresses when really, they're not!

I'm not bothering going anywhere near all the manga remakes and just sticking to trying out the more interesting stories.

Also, you missed Bull Doctor with Esumi Makiko, Ishihara and Goro but i watched the first episode and it was pretty meh. :(

I'm just not interested lol. Which is a shame because i do actually quite like some of the actors in the new HanaKimi. :/ ...I might just try that out. I'll definitely pass on the J-YAB because i couldn't stand the original and Ouran isn't something i got into.

And that Yon Shimai drama has the potential to be good. It's sometimes the unassuming dramas that turn out to be good usually. That's what i've learnt from jdramas these days...

I have a feeling i missed out a hell of a lot in terms of the dialogue so i probably missed out on Esumi being flawless. I will see if i'm willing to bet on this.

YES. I loved the anime and was afraid it wouldn't translate well to live action, but the cast is SO DAMN PERFECT I don't see how it can be anything but awesome. Oguri! Takayuki! Shirota! COME TO MEEEEEE! ♥

Awww, but I love her! Have you seen Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003? It was really fucked-up and depressing, but the OTP was crazy hot. Or how about Hokaben? No actual romance, but the chemistry between her and her boss was sizzling.

I really want Jiu to succeed. Like, I don't even care if it sucks, I just want it to be a big ratings hit because YES YES YES I WANT MORE FEMALE CRIME-FIGHTING DUOS YES JAPAN PLEEEEEEEASE.
